遇到Windows的Performance Counter（性能计数器）问题！

编程语言为c#。
程序使用System.Diagnostics.Process.GetCurrentProcess()时总报错，说“Performance Counter is disabled”。在网上看了看关于Performance Counter的资料，有人说把注册表中HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\PerfProc\Performance下的Disable Performance Counter键值改为0。可是我的注册表里根本没有这个键值，搜索了整个注册表，也都没发现Disable Performance Counter这个键值。我的系统是Windows XP Professional SP2。哪位帮帮忙啊，谢谢！
