double 类型的数在sqlserver中可以保存为Stirng吗

将double类型的数据封装呈String类型存到sql 中时出现一下异常。请高手指点，要是不存为varchar类型的数据可以用什么类型存呢？java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC][SQLServer]插入错误: 列名或所提供值的数目与表定义不匹配。
