log_buffer
db_block_size  You must not change db_block_size after creating the databaseroughly your oracle memory = db_block_buffers  * db_block_size  + 
shared_pool_size + log_buffer  Please check maybe db_block_buffers is the one you can reduce .

在8i中
可以进入Oracle菜单dba studio用internal/oracle登陆（可能你的这个密码改了，先试试看）进入，然后点击数据库，查看参数，可以修改了

如果是nt的机器，初始化参数是这样的：例如你的oracle是oracle8i，你又安装在d:\oracle,你的实例名为ora817，则初始化参数的目录是：d:\oracle\ora81\database\initora817.ora文件里指定的文件init.ora,你可以到该目录下去修改该文件的参数shared_pool_size=???,它的大小一般可以是机器物理内存的1/3强。
