关于TOAD 的安装请教

我的电脑的操作系统是WIN764位，已经安装了64位的ORACLE11数据库，现在想安装TOAD FOR ORACLE11，已经从官网上下载了一个免费的版本安装成功，但是打开后却提示：No valid Oacle clients found.You need at least one 64-bit client properly configured.不知道哪里还需要配置什么。我以前用ORACLE9i数据库的时候，安装TOAD就可以直接使用了，不需要去再找客户端了，请哪位大牛指点一下。多谢。

现在还真没有好的版本在64下运行，我也苦苦找了很久。但关键有一点：
你是用来做什么的？没什么特殊的，就不要使用toad，

貌似是这么解释的。10g以后是要安装客户端才行。 64位的客户端就要64位的TOAD。不能64和32位的TOAD一起安装在机器上。原文In versions of Toad prior to v11.6, 64-bit Oracle clients are not supported.  Starting in Toad 11.6, there are two options for each type of install we offer.  A 32-bit option and a 64-bit option, depending on what type of Oracle client you want to use.  If you are using a version of Toad prior to v11.6 or the 32-bit option of v11.6 or higher, verify a 32-bit Oracle client is installed on the client machine.  If you are using the 64-bit option of v11.6 or higher, verify a 64-bit Oracle client is installed on the client machine. If you are using the incorrect client for the version and/or bit option of Toad you have installed, you will either need to install the correct bit version of Oracle client on your machine or un-install Toad and re-install the correct bit option for the client you are using.  You can have both a 32-bit and 64-bit Oracle client installed on your machine at the same time and have Toad work, but you cannot have both a 32-bit and 64-bit version of Toad installed.  You have to choose one or the other bit option of Toad to install.  If you do have multiple clients on your machine, you can choose which client to connect with using the Toad connection window's Connect Using field.地址 https://support.quest.com/SolutionDetail.aspx?id=SOL64853&category=Solutions&SKB=1&product=Toad%20for%20Oracle

另外忘了说第一句是toad 11.6之前的版本不支持64位的oracle
11.6之后才有64位的toad

Summary
Installed Toad 8.6 on a Windows 7 (64 bit) but even thought the Oracle Client (sqlplus, tnsping) works fine and connects to the databases the Toad cannot!Using the Toad i get the error:
ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specifiedThe Toad was installed at "C:/Program Files (x86)/Quest Software/Toad for Oracle".Workaround: Copy the Toad directory to path "C:/Program Files/Quest Software/Toad for Oracle" or somewhere else and run it from there.
