MDI中如何在CDockablePane的FromView类中访问文档类的数据

我的程序界面基本如下图：
我想获取文档类中的int类型的volNum的值，该如何设置我只用下面方式CMainFrame* pFrame = (CMainFrame*)AfxGetMainWnd();
CStationDoc* pDoc=(CStationDoc *)(pFrame->GetActiveDocument());发现得到的pDoc为空    不知道该怎么办了
