关于连接ＭＹＳＱＬ问题

我安装的MYODBC3.51（3.51.11.00）版本,添加数据源，做远程连接：server,user,password,都输入正确，但是系统会提示
｛mysql｝[odbc3.51 drive]host'218.18.254.71'is not allowed to connect to this mysql server.
请问为什么连接不上，是不是什么问题，请高手指点？

通常是权限问题，如果本机可以用localhost，远程要附权限。
grant   all   on   *.*   to   你的名字@"%"   identified   by   "密码";flush privileges; 
%代表全部IP
