i am not familiar with UNIX and Java.
i think you can try to write simple a web service on unix and a simple .net client to test it.
(as web service is a standard, it should work theoretically)

理论上讲，.NET编写WebService客户端只需要WSDL文档，所以是完全与服务段平台无关的。
实践上要看两者对标准的支持和认同程度了，试过才知道。
