java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC]Error establishing socket.

Question

刚开始一直出现这个错误，不知道是哪出错了，改了好多地方多还是这样，就又装了一个数据库2000实例，装的时候是装的默认实例，并且密码为空，验证为混合验证，这是和第一个实例安装时不同的地方，不知道是不是这的事连接后就没有出现下面的情况虽然系统能用了，但是错在哪里还是不知道。大家指点。java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC]Error establishing socket.

我的系统xp sp2, 2000已经装上了sp4补丁

那你看看 SQL Server 2000 的版本号是多少，如果是 SP4 补丁的话，最后一段应该是 2000 多的

从错误信息来看（Error establishing socket），可能是你的数据库没有打开监听端口。 
sp4的补丁试过不行吗？那下个sp3的试试吧，我都用的sp3.4没用过。 
还有如果你的数据库是中文版的，应当打中文补丁。

连接字符串是什么呢,也写出来看看,telnet数据库服务器的监听看看服务有没有打开

使用netstat -an命令，看是不是你的监听端口1433没有打开？
