急救：<sys/socket.h>这个错误是怎么回事？

我现在有一个C语言的程序，只有.C源文件，没有.H帮助文件，在VC下用Win32 Application运行，现在出现了一个错误，
是 Cannot open include file: 'sys/socket.h': No such file or directory。
我在MSDN下查找，能找到 sys/socket.h，拜托各位大侠告诉我是怎么回事。
是不是需要添加什么库文件之类的。不胜感激。
