在DataList列表上处理结果为空，并没有显示＂无＂的字样

如果Deal字段（处理结果）为空，则让DealState （处理状态）显示为＂无＂
我写的ＳＱＬ语句如下：
Select  ID,MyPeople,Deal,(case when  Deal is null then '<font color=red  >无 </font>'  end )DealState from ContactMng没有编译错误，但是在DataList列表上处理结果为空，并没有显示＂无＂的字样．不知哪里有错？

datalist有空文本属性在页面上就可以设置Select     ID,MyPeople,Deal  from   ContactMng 不需要多余的sql语句
