window.showModalDialog的问题

我用window.showModalDialog打开页面a.aspx,
a.aspx上有一个服务器控件button,单击button,他不是在当前页面上显示结果，而是新打开了个页面。
怎么解决这个问题？

<base target="_self">

服务器端:response.redirect()

用Frame解决这个问题
新建一个页面A.aspx
在A.aspx 中写入
<iframe id=show src=B.aspx></iframe>
然后用window.showModalDialog打开A.aspx
