listbox的各个选项的背景

请问怎样用代码设置listbox各个选项的不同的背景色
下面这一句代码不对呀
      ListBox1.Items(i).Attributes.Add("style", "background:#FFC080")
请救救我呀

ListItem没有style属性，要想改变只能用客户端js脚本实现！
