Since MyBlogroll stores its data on disk, it requires write access on its folder. That's why you should grant ASP.NET write access on the MyBlogroll folder. To grant ASP.NET write access to a file, right-click the file in Explorer, choose "Properties" and select the "Security" tab. Click "Add" to add the appropriate user or group. Highlight the "ASPNET" account, and check the "Full Control" checkbox.
