    WIN2003没试过，你可以试试把文件拷贝到当前目录下 然后
    <%@ Register TagPrefix="mynews" TagName="main" src="main.ascx"%>

    is parent directory visible to outside? run Internet Services Manager, right click on that directory to open the Properties page, go to Diretory tab, make sure "Read" is checked

    Yes Read is checked   ,i think my  IIS  setup is no problem

    what error did you get? can you post the error messages?or try to add an aspx file to ".." and in your current file, add a link to it
    <a href="../newfile.aspx">whatever</a>can you open it?
