怎么将 varchar转换为 numeric？？ varchar→numeric varchar→numeric

   string s = this. textbox.text;   update 表 set 列=s   报错：从varchar转换到numeric出错。   数据库s列  是numeric  类型的~~~
   这个要怎么转啊？？求解

如果varchar 不是数字不能转，如只有是数字才可以！！我认为
