No, it is not correct. The update you saw is triggered by some other event. Try this:1. comment out the added line - dataGridView.CurrentCell.Value = this.Value;
2. use mouse to select a date
3. use tab to move to next row, you will the wrong behaviour as in the keyboard editing cases.
I suspect the update is triggered by mouse click which asks each row for a value to display...
