Path 和 Directory，愈想愈蒙！

Question

我觉得在C#中，A path is a string that provides the location of a file or directory. 
可以用Path来获取Directory或 file，设计者这样设计应该有他原因。
怎么我越想越觉得 path 和directory 怎么有点一样了！
因为我看Reflector中，
1、Path 可以GetFileName；
2、Directory 可以  GetFileName.
何解？
不怎么明白！谢了
