关于注册表新建字符串值

请问怎么在注册表里新建字符串值
 RegistryKey key = Registry.CurrentUser;
 RegistryKey key1= key.CreateSubKey("aa");然后我想在aa下创建一个字符串值，不知道怎么写了

 我想在aa目录下创建一个字符串值“passwd“，然后设置1234
RegistryKey key = Registry.CurrentUser; 
RegistryKey key1= key.CreateSubKey("aa"); 
key1.SetValue("passwd", "134");
系统报错 ->无法写入到注册表项
请问又是怎么一回事。

知道怎么写了，谢谢，设个RegistryKey key1 = key.OpenSubKey(commonUtil.REGLOCATION, true);就好了
