JPA的JavaBean映射文件报错

我在一个javabean中添加一个字段，数据库中也相应的添加一个列。结果启动tomcat的就报错：
Caused by: org.hibernate.MappingException: Dialect does not support sequencesCaused by: org.hibernate.MappingException: could not instantiate id generator javax.persistence.PersistenceException: org.hibernate.MappingException: could not instantiate id generatorCaused by: org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'emf' defined这错误应该是很容易解决的，说是自增列的原因，可是如果我把我添加的列去掉的话，就没有问题，而且我添加的就是一个String类型的属性而已。
请问各位大虾们 ，这个是还有其他的原因吗？
