    我自己问作者问到答案了，看来我看书还得看仔细，如下：====================
    Craig and I just created sketches in StarOffice.
    O'Reilly then redrew all the diagrams using some tool.
    As the book states in the colophon, they used MacroMedia
    Freehand and Adobe Photoshop for the illustrations.
    In neither case was a UML-specific tool used.David Jordan

    看来里面的UML图并不是专业画UML图的工具画的：

    The illustrations that appear in the book were produced by Robert Romano and Jessamyn Read using Macromedia FreeHand 9 and Adobe Photoshop 6.
    -----From the "Java Data Objects"' colophon-------感觉里面的UML图看起来特顺眼，也很简单明了。毕竟是经过了Macromedia FreeHand 9 and Adobe Photoshop 6啊
