JADE (Java Anti - DEcompiler) is a tool to safeguard a java product from decompiling. Device independence of JavaTM is the eminent characteristic to make software "Write once, Run anywhere". The implementation of Java technology is Java virtual machine (JVM). To achieve this goal, JVM has no option but to be interpretative. The interpretative JVM has class verifier and other policies to ensure the integration of running classes and itself. But static class files are not as safe as that, there are some tools that can decompile a Java class file to obtain secret. At present, lots of softwares written in Java are applied to business all over the world. Protecting those mission critical softwares is more important than before.
