    This document describes how to use the PAPYRUS toolkit.
    The PAPYRUS toolkit is a portable software for easily reading and writing PAPYRUS version 3 files. This file format is intended to store medical images and is compliant to the part 10 of the DICOM standard. The PAPYRUS toolkit , developed at the University Hospital of Geneva, has been implemented on different hardware platforms in a completely transparent way. The PAPYRUS toolkit is currently available for the following operating systems :
    1) Apple Macintosh (68k and Power PC based)2) PC running Microsoft Windows3) Unix based workstations.
