Jstorag e的本地大数据存储

最近在了解WEB 的本地存储 发现用Jstorage来在客户端存储大数据可以达到5M 左右 比Cookie等本地存储 有很大优势 并且还有专门的监听事件可以用  但是一直没搞懂  在客户端 所存储的数据 是放在什么位置的 放在哪 求解    网上搜索全是告诉怎么用的  表示很伤心  求这块的详解？Jstorage本地存储cookieweb
