如何将网页中弹出的小网页在点击相应按钮之后消失？

可能标题没有表达明白意思。
举个例子来说：
百度知道的首页
http://zhidao.baidu.com/
当我点击“登录”链接的时候，会弹出一个小网页。
当用户输入相应信息，单击登录按钮之后，该弹出
网页消失了。我想实现一个类似的功能。界面上有一个确定按钮和取消按钮。
当用户点击确定的时候，获取界面中的信息
之后使该弹出小网页消失。
当用户点击取消按钮的时候，仅仅使该弹出小网页消失。
请问应该如何实现？
能够给出代码吗？
