这个错误什么意思？

是不是调用了下面的命令：
public boolean previous() throws SQLException是的话，检查一下你的用法吧，在DOC中有关于该错误的描述：Throws: 
SQLException - if a database access error occurs or the result set type is TYPE_FORWARD_ONLY

state = conn.createStatement(ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE,ResultSet.CONCUR_READ_ONLY);
rs = state.executeQuery(sql) ;
这样就行了，不知道为什么？我以前是这样写的：
state = conn.createStatement();
rs = state.executeQuery(sql);

游标类型错误，看看你是调用resultset前后滚动时出错了么？
