可以在XP下安装MS SQL SERVER 2005服务器端， 还安装2000干吗呢，我不记得了，安装2000 也需要修改注册表才可成功；

If you want the Chinese version, I am sure you can find it on the microsoft site.MSDE doesn't come with SQL Server Enterprise Manager nor Query Analyser. You could manage it using Access ADP project - but it's a pain in the butt in my opinion. There are 3rd party alternatives (http://www.asql.biz/en/ - but try it at your own peril).As someone else has already mentioned, why don't you run SQL2K5 express edition. In fact, if you download SQL2K5 express with advanced services, it even comes with SQL Server reporting service. You can also download SQL Server 2005 Management Studio Express to manage the SQL2K5 Express edition. The only major drawback with SQL2K5 Express Edition is the lack of a SQL Server profiler (and there are free alternatives as well) but you have the same issue with MSDE as well.
