Software Requirements

zosky:YUKON b1 的预安装中包括了.netframework 1.2, 应该是不需要预先单独安装以前的版本(1.0 or 1.1)(note: not tested)

在betaplace还提供一个1.2的sdk包,但是装不上去.

不是这个问题把,这是说安装后不能用部分管理工具了,不过是yukon的管理工具不能用而已.
不是sql2000的,我现在是reporting service不能装.
看不到yukon的reporting的功能太让人失望了:-(

 Added: July 25, 2003Reporting Services fails to complete the installation process when using the Setup Installation Wizard if a side-by-side installation of Analysis Services 2000 and SQL Server 2000 exists.Symptoms
If Analysis Services 2000 and SQL Server 2000 are both installed as default instances on a server, Reporting Services Setup cannot proceed beyond the Reporting Services Virtual Root dialog box. Setup fails with an error code 2878. If Reporting Services is not selected during setup or the instance of SQL Server 2000 is a named instance, this error is not seen.Cause
The failure happens because there are duplicate entries, or two default instances (SQL Server 2000 and Analysis Services 2000), in the Report Server Database Selection dialog box.Resolution
When SQL Server 2000 and Analysis Services 2000 are both installed, Reporting Services must be installed from the command prompt. For more information, see the topic "Installing Reporting Services from the Command Prompt" in SQL Server Books Online.

会和现在的sql2000客户端冲突吗？很担心啊

我只能在把AS卸载后才能把Reporting Service装上去,用Command Line的方式还是不行.
不过总栓可以看到RS了.

2000的企业管理器已经不能注册Yukon的实例了.
必须用Yukon自己的WorkBench(其实就是企业管理器)或者SMO(SQL SERVER Management Objects)去连接.
但是可以用SQL Query Analyzer联上去,对象树也可以正确使用.
不过Beta1毕竟是Beta1,很多东西都没有开放,他还不能完成目前SQLServer决大多数通用功能.
