子查询语句问题?

如果a2字段是数值型，那么update  table1 set a1=(select count(*) from table2) where a2=1

可是,这样也不行啊,我是在c#里执行的.Cmd1=new OleDbCommand("update  table1 set a1=(select count(*) from table2)",Cmd);

Cmd1.ExecuteNonQuery();
