sqlserver2000 发邮件真的那么难吗

这2天晚上一直弄sqlserver2000发邮件功能，可是一直都没有弄好，本来开发的时候我用的是2000数据库，可是想用到数据库发邮件的功能 配置起来非常麻烦，下了一个2005的，装的时候sqlmail既然只有刷新，不知道怎么回事，我还是想用2000发邮件，不知道大家有没有什么好的配置方法，难道只有用2005吗？？？

怎么网上都是说要装outlook ，如果用2000 发邮件
