从mysql5.0中读出的中文内容显示乱码

Question

中文的记录存放在mysql5.0数据库的时候，可以正常显示。但是通过php用select操作显示在页面上就显示的乱码？请问是什莫原因

| character_set_system            | utf8   |我把1. 在 /etc/php.ini文件502行 default_chartset="iso-8859-1" 变为"gb2312"
2. 修改/etc/httpd/conf的httpd.conf的  747行原来AddDefaultCharset gb2312  
修改为 AddDefaultCharset gb2312
3. 在default.php中第一行增加
header("content-type:text/html; charset=gb2312"); 显示的中文还是不正确，请问为什莫啊？

这是我总结的一些解决方案，不知对LZ有帮助没
1： 安装MySQL数据库时候就指定字符集合为gbk或者gb2312,只要数据库中显示正常中文字符的话，页面肯定显示正常，哪来这么多的转换，烦死了！！
2： 指定服务器的 编码   GBK   或者GB23123： 修改安装目录下的  初始化配置文件   my.ini# The TCP/IP Port the MySQL Server will listen on
