mysql的问题，请求大侠指点，万谢

小弟我装了mysql后的，始终都会提示ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10057)的错误，在网上找了N多的资料都解决不了，但我用net start mysql会提示说我的服务已开启，但就是连接不了。
还有一个很严重的问题是，小弟我在控制面板那开了mysql的服务，但是一点启动，一闪而过就停止了，网上说是那个KB967723的问题，但是我在控制面板那找了很久，都没找到安装的信息，请问各位大侠，要怎么办才好
我是装在F盘，下面是错误信息：

    检查你的机器上是否已经有一个MYSQL了。或者检查一下3306端口是不是被其它程序占用了。

    谢谢高手，MYSQL好像被删干净了，这个是新装的还有，那个3306的端口要怎么检查被占用？可不可以设为别的端口？
