linux下 make check 失败

Question

按照http://blog.csdn.net/ucipher/archive/2007/05/19/1615818.aspx这个方法在redhat 上安装伯克利数据库，
其中make check 这一步出错。
提示：
creating temporary installation 
pg_regress: installation failed
Examine ./log/install.log for the reason.make[2]: [check] Error 2
make[1]: [check] Error 2
make: [check] Error 2
我搜了一下 国外论坛说是路径中不能有空格（spaces）但是我路径中没有这个啊，源文件存放地址是/mnt/hgfs/Untitled-1/postgresql-8.2.4
大侠们帮帮忙吧，菜鸟一个这个问题已经饶了一天了。
