使用oracle数据库连接时出现错误，求解~

我打算使用VC6+SQLAPI++连接oracle数据库。我刚装了一个oracle instant client。程序运行时捕捉到这样的错误信息。 
DBMS API Library 'ociw32.dll' loading fails 
This library is a part of DBMS client installation, not SQLAPI++ 
Make sure DBMS client is installed and 
this required library is available for dynamic loading Win32: 
1) The directory from which the application loaded 
2) The current directory 
3) The Windows, Windows system or 32-bit Windows system directory 
4) The directories in the PATH environment variable 请问会是什么原因呢？应该怎么解决？谢谢。
