救命！为何修改参数文件后一点反应也没有？

我先对参数文件(init.ora)进行了修改，添加了这么一条：
log_archive_dest_1="location=c:\oracle\oradata\fac_info"
再shutdown,再startup,
再select name,value from v$parameter where name='log_achive_dest_1';
发现其值没有任何变化。
不只是log_archive_dest_1是这样，其他参数也一样。为什么？
但若用
alter system set log_archive_dest_1='location=c:\oracle\oradata\fac_info';
却能起作用。到底怎么会事？

你要修改$oracle_base下的admin目录对应实例目录的pfile目录的init[sid].ora文件

The parameter file is not the one your DB is refer to :try this in server manager, Startup pfile="YourPFILE"
