Open the sqlnet.ora and look for statements like 
SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (NONE) 
sqlnet.crypto_seed = "some text" 
and make a copy 1st then comment out these lines using a "#" sign 
at the head of the lines.
