我搞懂了 export with the lower version, ftp the dump file and import into the higher version, eg.export from 7.2.2.4 with 7.2.2.4 exp utility. every exp/imp binary has set of tables/views to lookup in the data dictionary. since you are using 8.1.7 exp binary against the 7.2.2.4 db, these views does not exists. either do the above or in your 8.1.7 db login as internal and from svrmgrl run @?/rdbms/admin/catexp7.exp. this will create the Oracle 7 data dictionary export views, which are missing
