请教高手：header里面的post-check是什么意思？

在w3c，http/1.1我记得Cache-Control好像没有什么post-check.
估计是ms专有的东西，去MSDN查，应该有资料的。君子兰本身就是高手嘛。

最近为了加快页面的显示速度，用尽手法仍不得其解。谢谢楼上两位指点搜索方法和鼓励。找到了http协议了，放在了这里备查吧：http://www.read8.net/bbs/blog/detail.php?username=书生&aid=43&page=index不过对于我那个还是不得其解。post-check的只在msdn找到这样一段：The following code example demonstrates the use of a cache-control extension supported by Internet Explorer. The server is indicating to the browser that the content will not change for one hour (pre-check=3600) and instructs it to retrieve the content directly from the local cache. However, if the content is modified by the server and the page is requested by the user within a fifteen-minute (post-check= 900) to one-hour period, the browser displays the information found in the local cache but also performs a background check and optional fetch of the new content on the server.不过我大体也明白了那三行的意思，无非就是说当前页面不缓存就是了。本来还以为会对我程序的显示有什么改进呢。看来是无用功了。
