MSFlexGrid怎么判断其中记录单元为空

我这样判断它为空
if not isnull(trim(msflexgrid.textMatrix(0,0))) then
 它为空的,可是继续执行了?
还有 recordset 结果集 判断为空
if not isnull(trim(rs.fields(20))) then 
它为空的可是也执行了!帮忙!

if trim(msflexgrid.textMatrix(0,0) & "") ="" then

end if
