如何 Rebuild security object ？

我在写USB通讯应用程序时调用了API。在WIN98系统中一点问题也没有。在XP中我用‘CreateFile()’读取句柄时，可没有成功，API函数“FormatMessage()” 提示我“The revision level is unknown.”
我在MSDN上发现有解决问题的提示。下面就是MSDN给出的解决方法：[Kernel32]The service has encountered a revision level in a security object that it does not recognize. For instance, this may be a more recent revision than the service knows about.Rebuild the security object in the current Windows NT environment. Then the service will recognize its revision level.可本人天生迟钝，不能理解，如何 Rebuild the security object in the current Windows NT environment。哪位高手能告诉我？在此谢谢了!
