VC.net对于VC6的主要优势在哪儿？

一直在用VC6，net的都没有用过，NET是突出了面向网络那块，还是在其它方面对原来的VC进行了改进？目前一些部门的头头们也在鼓动我们向NET发展，所以先来了解下情况
