在vc里，如何写以时间为查询条件的SQL语句

现在想实现这样一条语句，Select * From table Where thetime > &time1
请问连接字符串应该如何写？还是说，需要通过什么转换？

把时间转换成字符串。
比如：
Select * From table Where thetime > '2005-2-1'
