Strings are constant; their values cannot be changed after they are created.

字符串，String是定长的，已经创建，长度就不能改变，而StringBuffer是可变的。

yes! options 3 and 4 are wrong.
You can change the value of a String object. The qn does'nt mean changing the individual characters in the value of the string. 
If a String object is immutable, then from the question, the option 3 is also correct哪个译一下
