TNS-12502 TNS:listener received no CONNECT_DATA from clientSymptoms
listener.log contains many TNS-12502 errors at regular intervals. Cause
A network utility or other tool is likely scanning the listener's listen endpoint (port) at regular intervals. Fix
You can either ignore these entries in listener.log, disable listener logging, or stop / reconfigure the network utliity which is monitoring the port.

Problem Description -------------------   You find that your Oracle 8.0.5 listener is hanging.  In the listener.log you find the following errors:       NL-00303:  Syntax error in NV string Syntax error in listener.ora      TNS-01153:  Failed to process string: %s         Cause:  The string specified is not well-formed.        Action:  Not normally visible to the user. For further details,                 turn on tracing and reexecute the operation.                 If error persists, contact Worldwide Customer Support.                 *Comment: Do not include in error manual.   Solution Description --------------------  You need to re-create the listener.ora using the Net8 Assistant. This Oracle configuration tool was specifically designed to create your network definition files.
