一个较难的错误

我有两个表table1,table2,table1中有orderno,custerNO,等字段，table2中也有custerNO字段。我再table2中建立一个lookup字段返回table1中的orderno字段的值，
keyfield:custerNO dataset:table1
lookupfield:custerNO resultfield:orderNo
但是当我运行程序的时候，在lookup字段的单元格下拉列表中修改数值时，出现这样的警告：
Master has detail records,cannot delete or modify,
请问一下这是十么错误，请大家帮帮小弟！！！。
