关于php与ios通信加密的问题

服务器用的php，现在想与ios客户端通信，但要在传输中进行加密，php用到了discuz的authcode算法，ios客户端是公司外包出去做的。他们在转换算法的过程中遇到问题。PHP中有个内置函数chr()作用是根据参数求对应的ASCII码字符。可是同样的ASCII码到了IOS下，转换的字符就有问题。经测试127以内的字符正常，大于127的就不一致了。请教是什么原因？该怎么解决
