各位老兄，oracle9i产品实际上是指Oracle9i DataBase、Oracle9i Application Server和Oracle9i Developer Suite的完整集成，但是我在安装过程中出现了问题。
我的硬件环境是赛杨1.1G、524M内存、40G硬盘，软件环境是win2000 advance server；
我下载的Oracel9i Database是从oracle公司网站发布的Oracle9i Database Release 2 Enterprise/Standard/Personal Edition for Windows NT/2000/XP Pro版本，三个压缩文件：
92010NT_Disk1.zip (612,817,854 bytes)
92010NT_Disk2.zip (537,604,934 bytes)
92010NT_Disk3.zip (254,458,106 bytes)
按照他的提示：
Directions
1. Create directories Disk1, Disk2 and Disk3.
2. cd to Disk1 and unzip the 92010NT_Disk1.zip here.
3. repeat the above step for Disk2 and Disk3.
4. After unzipping all the 3 disks in their respective directories, cd to Disk1 and run setup.exe to start the installer.
经解压缩后，当Universal安装进行到选择安装组件的时候，就出现上述的什么‘加载数据库出错areasqueries’ ，忽略后又出现类型故障，最后就返回到前一个安装界面里，安装始终无法进行，请教各位大侠有没有在win2000上安装成功的，介绍一下。
另外，对于Oracle9i Application Server我下载的是Oracle9i Application Server Release 2 Enterprise Edition for Win NT/2000的
server_all_90201.zip的单个文件，在安装过程中，当进行到选择安装类型的时候，出现如下错误提示：
Installation has detected that a fully qualified hostname has not been specified for this host. Oracle9i Application Server installation requires a default domain name to be specified for each host where it is installed . please consult your operating system instructions for details on assigning a default domain name. if you are not using a dns server , then the file c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts must also include a line of the form:
<IP_ADDRESS><FULLY_QUALIFIED_HOSTNAME><ALIASES>
after making these changes, please reboot the host and restart the install.
错误是这样的，因此我修改了那个hosts文件，修改为：
“192.168.1.108 www.toptrend.net webserver”
192.168.1.108是我那台计算机的IP地址，webserver是它的计算机名，因为没有公有ip，我又自己设置了一个DNS服务器，把WWW.TOPTREND.NET指向192.168.1.108,ping能ping的通。重启计算机后，安装过程出现错误依旧，哪位高手能就这个问题解答一下，不胜感谢。 另外，我有个疑问，oracle公司的产品都可以下载的下来，也可以安装，那么他们公司是怎么赚钱的呢，也就是我有什么风险没有，在我自己什么都搞定的前提下？？？？？？？
