小问题,关于typeof

请问大家Delphi中的typeof怎么用啊,我做了许多测试,比如s=typeof(3),s=typeof(i),s=typeof(integer),s=typeof(object)等等(s,i是我设的string和integer类型的变量),总是提示object type required,请大家给我写个小例子啊,先谢谢啦!

Delphi有一个 is 关键字，可以判断类类型。as关键字进行类转换if class1 is TBaseClass then
begin
  (class1 as TBaseClass).method;...
...
end;

我自己找到了,用到RTTI的TTypeInfo.Kind.
TTypeKind=(tkUnknown,tkInteger,tkChar,tkEnumeration,tkFloat......)甲骨文老兄说的不行哦,is 和 as 是用于类类的,对于基本数据类型它用不上.
